We are excited to announce a new proposal in the Suzuverse DAO regarding a change in the partnership structure. As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize the future of Suzuverse, we are proposing a shift from the previous profit share model to a buyback model.

• Duration: One week (07 Nov - 14 Nov 2024)

  3. Review the proposal details.
  4. Cast your vote for or against the change to the buyback structure.

To gain voting rights, DAO members must stake SGT to receive xSGT. Please refer to this guide for staking SGT: How to stake SGT for xSGT? Additionally, please note that only SGT on Ethereum (ERC20) is accepted for staking to acquire voting rights. Proposal Details:

• Current Structure: Profit distribution from the Suzuverse operating company to the DAO is suspended until January 2026.
• Proposed Change: Instead of suspending profit distribution, we propose using half of the Suzuverse company's profits for market buybacks of SGT tokens, which has already been voluntarily implemented since April.
• Reason for Change: To support the global success of Suzuverse and its upcoming listing on the Nasdaq, the operating company believes that distributing profits directly to the DAO would hinder meeting Nasdaq listing requirements.
• Additional Information: Past losses will be carried forward.

This is an important decision as it will reshape the financial structure of our partnership. However, please note that the change does not have significant economic impact in the immediate term.
